I've spent my career walking through many stages of education, starting as an instructor at both public and private institutions, then working directly with kids and families through the Clare-Gladwin RESD SPARKS after-school program, and later building relationships with donors and community partners at Central Michigan University. That experience has shown me exactly what it takes for a student to go from uncertain about their future to having a real path forward.
I'm running for the Mid Michigan College Board of Trustees because I believe this college changes lives. Whether someone is earning a degree, learning a trade, returning to school after years away, or preparing for a new career, everyone deserves access to pathways that help them reach their goals, no matter which of our three counties they call home.
My commitment is simple: listen to the families, students, and educators this college serves, build on the strong foundation Mid Michigan College has already built, and assess where we can help further. This isn't about a single issue or a single group. It's about strengthening the whole pathway, at every stage, for everyone who walks it.

Rural Access
Helping every prospective student across rural mid-Michigan, not just our three home counties, see Mid Michigan College as a valuable next step, whether through dual enrollment, a career change, a transfer, or returning to school. With satellite locations and online classes, the college is often closer to home than people realize.

Workforce & Community Partnership
Building strong, direct relationships with local employers, businesses, and community organizations across all three counties, so college programs align with the jobs and opportunities that actually exist here.

Bringing accountability to how the college manages its budget, priorities, and decisions, so students and taxpayers alike can trust where resources are going.

Voting Information

Your polling place is assigned by your voter address. Confirm the location before Election Day using Michigan's official voter information system.
Use the Michigan Voter Information Center for the address assigned to your registration.
Online and mail registration closes October 19; eligible voters can register in person after that through Election Day.
Michigan's constitutionally required early voting period for the general election runs October 24 through November 1, 2026.
